Hellibore Envy

I recently went to my son’s new house and was amazed at how many spring bulbs he has coming through both at the back and the front of the house. Then I spotted a whole row of Hellibores under the front window all in flower and looking beautiful.

On the downside when we went to the plots we noticed that some of the seed potatoes were missing. On checking the closest compost bin we found what was left of them and we assumed that they had been taken by rats. At least they had put their left overs in the bin.
